Robert J. Campos is an attorney with 30 years of trial experience and a Certified Criminal law Specialist, certified by the State Bar of Arizona, since 1995. Arizona allows attorneys who have proven experience in a particular area of law to achieve the status of specialist. A member must meet the following minimum standards for specialization:

Admission to the practice of law for 7 years.
Admission to the State Bar of Arizona for 2 years immediately preceding submission of the application.
Devotion of at least 50% of a full-time practice to the specialty area.
Substantial involvement in the certification area for 4 of the 6 years immediately preceding submission of the application.
Additionally, peer review is conducted and a written examination must be passed.

Former Prosecutor and Criminal Law Expert

Robert J. Campos is a former La Paz County Prosecutor and a former Maricopa County Prosecutor. Mr. Campos gained extensive experience and national recognition as a formidable trial attorney. He brings this experience when defending and advising clients regarding their legal issues and cases. Mr. Campos' experience includes assignments in the Sex Crimes Division, the Gang/Repeat Offender Division, and the Drug Unit Division of the Maricopa County Attorney's Office. Mr. Campos has been consulted, or has appeared, as a criminal law expert by KFYI, KJZZ and KTAR radio stations, the Arizona Republic Newspaper, Spanish channels Univision and Telemundo, all local Phoenix television news stations and U.S. News and World Report.
